Banlist Update 13th June 2025

These changes will come into effect on the 13th June 2025.

Restricted - Encroaching Seas

Encroaching Seas has seen a drastic fall off as a potential primary or secondary wincon since it entered the banlist. The game has become faster, and larger swings in board impact are less, and so we will test Encroaching Seas slowly coming back off of the list. The move to 2 will allow decks that use Encroaching Seas to have a little more protection from it being removed, and hopefully that will allow the card to become slightly more worth running in lists again.

Restricted - Katherina, Pure Blood

Katherina proved far too versatile an answer for too many decks. Her ability to hit the board, use herself to clear a problem Entity and trade up in resources was too powerful. A key part of many decks, and with no real counter-play, we want decks to have to think a little more about deck space, and this card was too easy to put as a 4 of in every deck before any other considerations.

For this reason, we are moving it to Restricted.
